Prophecy Coming to Pass in 2018 and Beyond!!!
PRAYER FOR SIERRA LEONE
O covenant keeping God, open your eyes and your ears to hear the cry of your servant who trembles at the sound of your name. I bring now our beloved nation Sierra Leone before your mercy seat. We and our father’s house have sinned; we have acted very corruptly against you and have not kept your commandments, which you gave us. Our unfaithfulness has caused us to be scattered among other nations. For you said in Nehemiah 1:8–9 that if we are unfaithful, you will scatter us among the nations, but if we return to you and obey your commands, then even if our exiled people be under the farthest horizon, you will gather them from there and bring them to the place you have chosen as a dwelling for your name.
When we most times want to select our leaders, we do not seek your face, we choose with our human understanding. When the enemy drove us into exile, we cried to you day and night for you to deliver us. After you delivered us, we paid no more respect for you, neither for your commandment. We have been ungrateful and have turned our backs from following you. Our leaders have acted corruptly, the courts of law and the police have taken up to injustice, bribery and corruption, nepotism, favouritism, tribalism, have deprived the poor and molested/humiliated them, have accused the innocent falsely. The army who were to protect us turned their back against us and became our enemies. We have not shown love to each other; we have taken what belongs to the people and given it to dogs; wickedness have increased in the land so that we are no longer fit to be called your people.
O Lord, my goodness, hear my humble cry, forgive our sins, deliver us, cause us to posses our possessions and inherit our land. Let your power be great as you have promised saying. ‘The Lord is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving the iniquity of fathers upon children, upon the third and forth generations.
O Lord, forgive our iniquities, our sins that we have committed against you. Hear from heaven our cry, heal our land, satisfy our mouth with good things and make known unto us your ways.
Satan and his agents have come upon us like a flood, but we stand upon your word in Isaiah 8:9,10 which says “Be broken you peoples and be dismayed; give ear, all you far countries, guard yourselves and be dismayed. Take counsel together, but it will come to nought, speak a word but it will not stand, for God is with us”. Jeremiah 29:11-14 declares that the Lord has thoughts and plans for us, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give us an expected end. Then we shall call upon him, and we shall go and pray unto him and he will hearken unto us. And if we seek him, we will find him, when we search for him with all our heart. We shall surely find him. He will turn away our captivity and he will gather us from all the nations, and from all the places where He has driven us; and he will bring us again to the place where he caused us to be carried away captive”.
I will rejoice in you Lord. O Lord, I will sing praises to you among the nations. I will not forget that your love has kept me going and your mercy has kept me alive. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to pray for my beloved country Sierra Leone.
Remember not O God that you have spoken to us in Isaiah 41:10 saying “Fear not O Sierra Leoneans, I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand “Fear not, nor be afraid, have I not told you from of old and declared it? And you are my witness! Is there a God beside me? There is no rock, I know not any”. Isaiah 44:8 says “for the Lord will comfort Zion, he will comfort all her waste places and will make her wilderness like the garden of Eden, her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the voice of a song (Isa 51:3) Isaiah 54:14 says “Fear not O Sierra Leoneans, in righteousness shall you be established, you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you”.
It is the Lord who gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might, he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and fall exhausted, but they who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:29-31).
Jehovah Shalom, Prince of Peace, you who have power and willingness to give us peace, here am I, I am yours and you are mine, and I have come to worship you. I look into your eyes with a believing heart for everlasting peace in this nation. Your righteousness endures forever. Your mercy never comes to an end, they are new every morning, great is your faithfulness.
Restore to us, Almighty Father, all what the locust has eaten, all what the enemy has taken away from us. Restore our joy, our homes, our families, our minerals such as gold, diamonds, bauxite, silver, rubber, rutile, oil, fish, our plantations such as cocoa, coffee, etc and our lands. Increase the population of men, women, young people, children, old people, restore back the talented Sierra Leoneans who have left this country because they say our country is poor. As you have promised saying. “on the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be rebuilt. And the land that was desolate shall be tilled, instead of being the desolation that it was in the sight of all those who pass by; and they will say “this land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are now inhabited and fortified. Then the nations that are left round about you shall know that I, the Lord have rebuilt the ruined places and replanted that which was desolate; I the Lord have spoken, and I will do it.
Father in the name of Jesus, I stand upon your word and I take authority as a servant of God, I declare as a covenant child, I proclaim as a representative of Christ and if I have faith as small as the mustard seed, I am now speaking by faith with authority in my month saying “O ye spirit of setback and of poverty and disgrace, hardiness, mental retardness, and you spirit of disappointment, I set the fire of God, the Holy Ghost fire upon your kingdoms that you have set in the heaven lies over this nation. I dismantle and cancel every programming that you have programmed in the heaven lies. I break your hold over this nation, I loose Sierra Leone from your grip, and I bind both you and the ruler spirits, demonic spirits, rulers of the dark ages, witches and wizards, you immoral and jezebel spirits, underworld agents of the marine kingdom, queen of the coast etc. With the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and I cast you out of Sierra Leone, out of our boundaries to waste places and remain bound until the second coming of our Lord.
In the name of Jesus I reject, I revoke and break every evil covenant made on behalf of this country whether done consciously or unconsciously. Let the blood of Jesus wipe every evil demands of the enemy for our lives. In your wrath and anger O God, let every craven images be destroyed to pieces, let all the idols lay desolate and be burnt with fire. Cut off every wicked spirits, destroy our enemies, tear down their strongholds, bend them all, demolish their power basis and nullify their powers. Let the earth of Sierra Leone vomit and write an end to all those who want to bring wickedness upon this land and all those who take delight in war. Write an end O earth to this war let this land yield forth its best. Let peace be our governor and let righteousness be our ruler.
Father in the name of Jesus, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, I pray for spiritual breakthrough, financial breakthrough, and material breakthrough in Sierra Leone. Our economy has dropped drastically over the years, ie the value of our money has dropped, low scale of salary, high cost of living, poor educational facilities, high rate of drop outs, no justice in the courts of law, the police, the army, offices, educational institutions and business sectors.
I pray you Lord to improve our economy. I pray especially that the value of our money may increase, that the rate of salaries and wages be increased, let the standard of living be improved and let there be reduced cost of living. Let there also be improved educational facilities, that more schools should be built, the availability of more scholarships in schools and universities. May the Njala University College, the Bunumbu Teachers College, the Port Loko Teachers College, the Makeni Teachers College and other educational institutions which have been closed down for so long be restored back in terms of normal classes at their original centres, boarding facilities be made available, the return of their lecturers and teachers from exile and normal atmospheric conditions. Jehovah Jireh, I pray that you bring investors into our country, investors who will not turn our hearts to worship and serve strange gods and from following you. Investors who intend to open factories, make jobs available to us, improve on employment facilities, make intermarriages with our men and women and have great love for us.
I pray for more beneficial relief facilities/services like NGO’s, Christian Organisation to build more hospitals, bring medicines free of charge, help the orphans by providing centres where they are well taken care of, providing false hands and feet for the amputees and the growing of hands and feet and any missing part of the body through your resurrection power, help the widows, provide local training centres especially for the drop outs. That justice may prevail in the land starting from the head of state, the cabinet ministers, parliamentarians, the courts of law, police, army, doctors, offices, schools, universities and business sectors, in the Mighty name of Jesus.
Omnipotent God you who have power to draw all men unto you and you to whom all flesh come, let your great power change the attitude of Sierra Leoneans towards one another. Let your word abide in us and may we be obedient to your word which says love your neighbour as yourself. Holy Spirit help us to have concern for one another. May we rejoice with others while they are rejoicing and mourn with others while they are mourning.
Heavenly father, in the name of Jesus, I ask that you anoint us a king of your choice, and put in authority all those whose hearts are after you, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
O Lord, remember your promise to us in Isaiah 60:10,11 saying” Foreigners shall build up your wall and their kings shall minister to you; for in my wrath I smote you Sierra Leone, but in my favour I have had mercy on you. Your gates shall be opened continually; day and night they shall not be shut, that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations, with their kings led in possession. Instead of bronze I will bring gold, instead of iron, I will bring silver, instead of wood, bronze, instead of stones, iron. I will make your overseers peace and your taskmaster’s righteousness. Violence shall no more be heard in your land, devastation or destruction within your borders; you shall call your walls salvation, and your gates praise. (Isa 60:17-18) I will give peace in the land and you shall lie down and none shall make you afraid, I will remove the evil beast from the land and the sword shall not go through your land (Lev. 26:6)
In proverbs 14:34 it is written that “righteousness exalt a nation but sin is a reproach to any people. Therefore I pray you, let righteousness reign in this land and may righteousness accomplish its purpose. Omni-lovicient Father, this is our prayer for you said in 2nd Chronicles 7:14 that if my people who are called by my name would humble themselves and pray I will hear them and heal their land”. I am therefore fully persuaded that you are God who has ears to hear and have respect for your word. Let our cry reach your throne room and let heaven your dwelling place answer yes.
Amen! Your sister-in-Christ Veronica F. Wisdom Conteh E-mail: email@example.com
